PLEASURE AND ACTIVE WEEKS
A comprehensive feel-good factor is high on the agenda in Val Gardena. The Dolomites form the perfect backdrop for restoring the harmony of body and soul.
And the Val Gardena active programme is the ideal way to do this. When getting to know the craftwork of Val Gardena and the unique combination of languages in the valley, visitors are not only eager to find out more but they also want to gain first-hand experience of the cuisine and taste the specialities they have cooked themselves.
Achievements included:
- Admission to the UNIKA sculpture fair (03-05.09.2010): Unika offers an impressive variety of sculptures and pictures that are as different and individual as their creators themselves. Ranging from traditional craftsmanship to contemporary art, all works are exclusively hand-carved and unique.
- 1 Ladin culture walk: Get to know the culture of an Alpine population. Meet the Ladins of the Dolomites between past, present and future: language, history, traditions and popular beliefs.
- Val Gardena/Gröden speciality cookery course incl. tasting: “Back to the origins” - so why not also apply this to food and drink? Sometimes it’s good to leaf through grandmother’s old cookbooks and try one of the otherwise forgotten recipes. And then, of course, to taste the delicacies afterwards.
- Participation in the “Val Gardena Active” programme: Actively experience the nature of Val Gardena – for a whole week of holiday! Whoever takes part in this programme will be confronted with the tyranny of choice – and will thus have the pleasure of putting together an individual holiday programme.

ALPINE WEEK IN VAL GARDENA
Do you love mountains, climbing and walking in the middle of endless widths? Then this package is the right one for you! During these days you will get a rich active program of walking.
In this week everything turns around the trend sports: climbing and walking. During this week there will take place different film evenings with famous international alpinist. In addition a dinner on a hut with a performances of the rescue helicopter “Aiut Alpin Dolomites” as highlight.

General terms and conditions
All prices are per person per day and inclusive of half board and accommodation in a double room with satellite TV, radio and telephone.
Half board includes a substantial buffet breakfast and a big dinner with varied menus, a salad buffet and a wide choice of cheeses and desserts.
Please arrange to arrive and depart on Saturdays.
On the day of arrival the rooms are available from 1 pm, and on the day of departure the rooms have to be vacated by 10 am.
Should you arrive after 6 pm, please inform us in advance. Otherwise we reserve the right to relet the rooms.
In case of late arrival or premature departure the room rate (without board) will be charged.
No credit cards accepted.
